I can take on the world

I just finished up the KenpoX, kinda like fast paced kick-boxing, karate and tae kwon do all in one...at least in my eyes.  Tony Horton, you are my friend today, but I think Monday's workout will definately test our friendships stability. Now I feel like I can go whoop some tail.  There's this one move that you grab and pull down and punch, I added an imaginary face and just tore into that move...paying for that one now, as my fingers are twitching and shaking from muscles waking up that I haven't used ever or since I was like 10 climbing trees.

Quite a busy Saturday, the hubby cooked his usual Saturday morning breakfast, while I fed the baby, who may need to start P90x with me. :O)  Then I went by myself (ahhhhh golden lights and singing inserted here) to Sams Club to pick up food and supplies for next weekend's Bible bowl event.  I had a flatbed cart and a regular cart packed down with soda, cookies, chips, hot dogs, hot dog buns, plates, cups, napkins for 400 people, needless to say that was a workout in itself, and I was trying to pump myself up for my workout this afternoon, as I was pushing one cart and dragging another behind me.  Three different people told me "you don't have to worry about working out today" all three of which are easily 100lbs over weight like myself, thankfully more motivation, as I look at them waddling away, hoping I'm not waddling as I'm pushing and dragging these carts through Sams Club.

Tomorrow is an off day, so 6 days of straight working out looms in front of me for Monday morning.  I'm going to push through it!  Even if the baby, the toddler, the dogs, the cat and the husband wear me out, I will survive!

  1. You will survive! Maybe you need Reba McIntyre "I am a Survivor" playing in the background while you work out. I am in awe of your determination-just be careful. I have started hitting the gym again and my 2nd week tore the Rhomboid muscle in my back/shoulder. Progress is slow again for me until I heal. Lesson learned: Take time to stretch really well, even when in a hurry. Can't wait to see you gradually slimming down again. Keep your goals reachable and you will do great!
