So I have been slacking as of lately, we'll call it a little pity party week I was having. So, I am back into the swing of things, no more slacking, no more pity parties. Today was shoulders and arms....which explains why I can barely type. Its burning, but a very good burn...and I don't mind being friends with Tony today. The hubby has had excellent results so far, he's starting week 5, and looks like he's lost about 6inches around his stomach...men...grrr Don't have to go through childbirth, gain weight for that child, yet the second they start working out their metabolism heats up like a coal burning furnace. It takes a woman approximately two weeks of solid workouts before there is a noticeable difference in her metabolic rate. Men, 1-3 days NOT FAIR!!
one thing I need to work on is eating 60% of my body weight in protein, how the heck I'm going to do that is beyond me, but will strive to do that.
Food for today:
breakfast protein enriched french toast, two slices of turkey bacon
string cheese and apple for snack
cottage cheese double protein shake
gatorade post workout recovery drink, greek yogurt
dinner turkey burgers and homemade french fries
desert: skinny cow single serving double fudge brownie ice cream
Thank goodness for Skinny cow, otherwise I believe I would fail miserably at my trial to change our eating habits
