The start of accountability for my weight loss goal

So hey there, to whomever (if that is the proper english) is reading this. I have started this blog, to hold myself accountable for sticking to my workout routine. I am at the heaviest weight I've ever been and not too happy about it. So I'm going to blog each day, to keep myself motivated, and humor myself and anyone else who wants to join me in my suffering. I am a mom of a 3yr old and a 3month old both girls. Trying to balance life and its craziness, all the while trying to get my pre-baby, pre-marriage body back. That way I can say I've got it goin' on like Stacy's Mom (Fountains of Wayne). I'm tired of looking in the mirror and seeing stuff hanging that shouldn't be hanging, stretch marks that are the ugly things I'm left with after having two beautiful daughters...really kinda sucks! I want to see if I can get anyone to join me, not necessarily doing the p90x (tony horton) workout itself as I am, but some sort of exercise routine.

Today, I skipped out on my work out. Mommy stuff got in the way, but from here on out I am making an oath that if need be, I will do it at 4am or 10 pm, but I will definately accomplish this goal, with humor, gripes, and all

  1. I promise to be there to push you along. :) You can do it girl. Just think of how amazing the result will be!
And in the matter of those nasty nemesis "stretch marks," don't worry about them. They suck infinitely but I think they happen no matter what you do over time.
Just remember, no matter the outcome you are amazing and beautiful! No size or shape will EVER change that.
In the meantime... KICK SOME POST-BABY BOOTY!!!

  2. I have to trick myself into thinking my workout is a spa treatment. I won't make time to work out but I'll make time to pamper if I can, lol. Light a candle, dim the lights (Mute Tonys voice) and have your water in a fancy glass! It's all a mental trick but it works for me, somehow makes it more relaxing! You look beautiful for having 2 kids. I am a step mother and people used 2 tell me I looked good for having a new baby...thought it was a compliment until I realizes that wow...my body looked like I had a new baby. (I hold below the belly button...yuck!)

Good luck, excited for your blog and I love ya!

  3. I am with you. Maybe this will help me stick to the gym instead of intending to go and letting my beautiful little girl talk me into staying home with her. So you are aiming for 6 days a week? I will aim for half that since I am just starting back.

  4. thanks girls...Des...that's where I've always held my weight, below the belly button...and having a c-section makes it even harder to go away...I'm definately going to try your tricks on making it a spa treatment the days I'm trying to talk myself out of working out.

    Sherri, sounds good!
